To strengthen the continuing learning programs on intellectual property of the IPOPHL, the IP Academy presents the Beyond IP (BeIP) Mastercourse. The program aims to provides an opportunity for university/graduate/post-graduate students and young professionals to acquire a deeper knowledge of IP, and how it can be used as a tool for sustainable development.
With an extensive and comprehensive 5-day lecture series, the master course delivers core sessions on trademark, patent and innovation, copyright and related rights, protection and enforcement, commercialization, and profession. The program also IP Legal and IP Management Tracks, through which the participants can select which track is most aligned with their fields of specialization.
The BeIP Program is designed for graduate/post-graduate students, young professionals with a business and law background, and government officials whose duties may require them to understand how the international IP system functions and its intersection with other policy areas.
Requirements are:
1. Completion of the pre-registration process
2. Payment of the course fee
3. Completion of the course module DL-001 Primer on Intellectual Property
