Patent Examiner 

  • To be hired: 20 Patent Examiners
  • Monthly Salary: Php34,155.00

Brief functions of the position:
The successful Patent Examiners will manage the unassigned pending applications, and assist in
the expanded search and examination services at BOP. Moreover, examiners will support the BOP’s continuous goal of eliminating backlogs for inventions, Utility Models, and Industrial Designs.

 

Minimum Qualification Standards

  • Education: Bachelor of Science graduate (2017 graduate onwards), preferably in the following fields and allied sciences:
    • Agricultural Engineering
    • Molecular and Biotechnology
    • Biological Engineering
    • Chemical Engineering
    • Materials Engineering
    • Computer Engineering
    • Electronics and Electrical Engineering
    • Civil Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Environmental Engineering
    • Manufacturing Engineering
    • Energy Engineering

Eligibility: CS Professional / RA 1080 (PRC licence)

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Passion for research and innovation

  • Highly motivated, willing to learn, flexible, service-oriented, good
    team player, good interpersonal relationships, physically fit

  • Proficient in MS Office software

  • Willing to start work by May 2024
