Duties and Responsibilities
1. Plans, directs, manages, and coordinates the ICT Facilities Management Division’s functions related to the acquisition, administration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and other ICT equipment.
2. Assists in the planning and execution of ICT procurement, project management, and contract administration for equipment, software, and services, ensuring compliance with DBM, COA, and IPOPHL procurement regulations.
3. Ensures the design, administration, and maintenance of server systems, network architecture, and related ICT facilities to guarantee optimal performance, reliability, and security.
4. Implements and monitors information security protocols, compliance measures, and risk management procedures to safeguard IPOPHL’s digital assets.
5. Provides technical support and guidance to internal users on ICT infrastructure, network connectivity, server operations, and related systems.
6. Develops, enforces, and recommends policies, standards, and best practices for ICT infrastructure management to improve efficiency, interoperability, and reliability.
7. Supports the Division Chief and senior management in strategic and operational planning, including performance monitoring, reporting, and evaluation of ICT facilities and services.
8. Coordinates with internal units and external partners, including contractors and service providers, to ensure timely and effective delivery of ICT projects and maintenance services.
9. Applies strategic thinking, problem-solving, and innovative solutions to enhance ICT service delivery, infrastructure management, and operational continuity.
10. Demonstrates leadership competencies by fostering collaborative, inclusive working relationships, coaching and mentoring staff, and contributing to the development of a high-performing ICT team.
11. Prepares and submits reports on ICT facilities, infrastructure status, projects, and performance indicators for management review.
12. Maintains awareness of emerging ICT trends, digital governance standards, and best practices in IT infrastructure management to support continuous improvement.
13. Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Information Technology Officer III or senior management to support IPOPHL’s ICT infrastructure, digital services, and organizational mandate.
