Duties and Responsibilities
1. Provides technical and administrative support in the management, maintenance, migration, and upgrading of application systems and databases within IPOPHL.
2. Assists the Division Chief in planning, implementing, and monitoring strategic, operational, and financial plans for ICT initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with government ICT standards.
3. Develops, implements, and enforces standardized procedures and best practices for database management, software configuration, and systems integration.
4. Supports internal clients by diagnosing and resolving IT-related issues, providing guidance on software, applications, and database usage.
5. Monitors performance, security, and compliance of information systems, ensuring data integrity, protection, and adherence to applicable regulations.
6. Assists in the planning and execution of ICT procurement, project management, and implementation activities, ensuring timeliness, cost-efficiency, and alignment with IPOPHL’s technology roadmap.
7. Prepares regular reports on system performance, database activities, and ICT project status for management review and decision-making.
8. Provides technical input and support in cross-divisional ICT initiatives, ensuring interoperability, data sharing, and effective integration across organizational systems.
9. Applies problem-solving, strategic thinking, and analytical skills to recommend improvements and innovative solutions in ICT operations and database management.
10. Collaborates with internal and external partners to ensure effective delivery of IT services, capacity building, and knowledge sharing.
11. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of emerging ICT trends, digital government standards, and information security practices, recommending adoption of technologies that enhance operational efficiency.
12. Performs other ICT-related duties as may be assigned by the Division Chief or senior management to support IPOPHL’s mandate and digital transformation initiatives.
