Qualification Standards

Education: Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job

Training: Eight (8) hours of relevant training

Experience: Two (2) years of relevant work experience

Eligibility: CS Professional/ 2nd Level Eligibility/RA1080

    1. Knowledge of copyright and related rights, policies and standards.
    2. Proficient in project development and management.
    3. Capable of building collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    4. Strong research and analytical skills.
    5. Proficient in database management.
    6. Capable of communicating effectively in both writing and verbally
    7. Skilled in MS Office applications.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Supports the planning, coordination, and implementation of programs, projects, and activities (PAPs) under the Creative Sector Development Division in alignment with IPOPHL’s mandate and strategic priorities.
2. Assists in the preparation of project proposals, budgets, work plans, and periodic reports to ensure proper documentation, compliance, and effective project management.
3. Maintains and updates the Creative Sector Directory, databases, and other information systems to ensure accurate, timely, and accessible data on stakeholders and initiatives.
4. Liaises with internal and external stakeholders, including creative industry partners, government agencies, and civil society organizations, to facilitate collaboration, partnerships, and successful project delivery.
5. Contributes to the conceptualization, organization, and execution of creative industry awareness programs, advocacy campaigns, and capacity-building initiatives to promote intellectual property compliance and best practices.
6. Conducts research and analysis on trends, challenges, and opportunities in the creative sector, producing data-driven reports to support decision-making, policy development, and program improvement.
7. Monitors project progress, evaluates outputs, and provides recommendations for adjustments or enhancements to ensure the timely and effective delivery of PAPs.
8. Supports the development and implementation of policies, guidelines, and standards relevant to creative sector programs, in coordination with other IPOPHL divisions and units.
9. Performs other related duties as may be assigned to support the effective functioning of the Creative Sector Development Division and the Bureau’s mission.
