Education: Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job

1. Knowledge of copyright and related rights, policies, standards, and registration processes.
2. Strong research and analytical capabilities
3. Proficient in writing professional articles, scholarly content for publications, and data-driven reports.
4. Knowledge of standards development and evaluation
5. Proficient in database management.
6. Proficient in office productivity and research tools.
7. Capable of communicating effectively in both writing and verbally
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Supports the Accreditation and Standards Division in the formulation, implementation, and review of copyright standards, policies, and guidelines in line with national and international legal frameworks.
2. Conducts research, reviews studies, policy papers, and publications, and analyzes relevant data to inform the development of copyright and related rights standards.
3. Assists in the accreditation and audit of Collective Management Organizations (CMOs), including preparing reports, evaluations, and recommendations for compliance and operational improvements.
4. Contributes to the development and implementation of information campaigns, workshops, and advocacy initiatives to promote awareness and compliance with copyright standards and policies.
5. Prepares, drafts, and formats reports, policy briefs, articles, and other publications to disseminate knowledge on copyright standards and best practices to internal and external stakeholders.
6. Maintains and updates databases, records, and reference materials related to copyright accreditation, standards, and compliance monitoring.
7. Supports monitoring, evaluation, and documentation of ASDIV programs, initiatives, and stakeholder engagements to ensure data-driven decision-making and reporting.
8. Collaborates with internal units, CMOs, industry partners, and relevant government agencies to facilitate policy development, accreditation, and compliance activities.
9. Performs other related duties as may be assigned to support the effective functioning of the Accreditation and Standards Division and the Bureau’s mission.
