Technical / Functional Expertise:
1. Knowledge of copyright and related rights, policies, standards, and registration processes.
2. Strong research and analytical capabilities to review studies, policy papers, and data.
3. Capable of producing clear, accurate, and engaging abstracts, summaries, articles, and other materials for official publications and internal knowledge-sharing platforms.
4. Capable of producing data-driven report.
5. Proficient in database management.
6. Proficient in office productivity and research tools.
7. Capable of communicating effectively in both writing and verbally
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Supports the operations and service delivery of the Copyright Services Division through research, evaluation, and data management activities related to copyright and related rights.
2. Participates in copyright-related research projects, reviews studies, publications, and other relevant materials to support decision-making and policy development.
3. Prepares abstracts, summaries, articles, and other content for official publications such as the Copyright Bulletin and internal knowledge management systems.
4. Maintains and updates divisional databases, registries, and records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, integrity, and security of data.
5. Assists in reviewing copyright registration applications to determine compliance with legal requirements and registrability criteria.
6. Supports the development, implementation, and improvement of copyright services and knowledge management systems to facilitate efficient operations and information dissemination.
7. Generates data-driven reports, analyses, and statistics to inform divisional planning, monitoring, and evaluation activities.
8. Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate copyright registration, research initiatives, and knowledge-sharing activities.
9. Performs other related duties as may be assigned to support the effective functioning of the Copyright Services Division and the Bureau’s mission to promote and protect copyright and related rights.
