IP Philippines hosts seminars on intellectual property for university grantees. The Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IP Philippines) in partnership with Ayala Foundation, Inc. (AFI) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) recently inked an agreement to conduct briefings and seminars on IP, and technology licensing and management for grantees in select state universities and colleges. In the agreement, the three organizations will likewise draft IP policies of five chosen schools. IP Philippines has been intensifying efforts to push intellectual property advocacy through tie-ups with the private sector. It is also coordinating and aligning the efforts of government agencies and the private sector in promoting respect and strengthening enforcement of intellectual property rights.
