IP Philippines, Science journalists’ group forge ties to raise IPR awareness |

20 October 2007, Makati City – Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IP Philippines) Director General Atty. Adrian S. Cristobal, Jr. and Philippine Science Journalists Association, Inc. (PSciJourn) President Angelo B. Palmones (second and third from left, respectively) seal with a handshake the two organizations’ partnership for the upcoming IPR Forum, slated for October 25 at the University of the Philippines’ Philvolcs Auditorium in Quezon City. The IPR Forum is geared towards raising public awareness on the role and importance of IP creation. It will bring together science journalists, business reporters, government information officers, and campus media networks to learn the basic IP laws that affect the media and emerging IPR issues and concerns.
