“Kulay at Salaysay in translation is color and story. Art provides color to our lives as each artwork tells a story like the illustrations in the exhibit,” Atty. Adrian S. Cristobal, Jr., Director General of IP Philippines, said. “Kulay at Salaysay is more than an art exhibition, it is one of our programs for this year’s IPR celebration to inform and educate our people, particularly the youth, on the importance of IPR in promoting creativity, innovation and competitiveness,” Cristobal said.

“By actively supporting the art community through our Copyright Support Services Unit, the office helps artists derive income from their work by informing them of their rights so they can continue providing us with colors and stories,” he added.

The office conducts basic orientation seminars on copyright for various groups of visual artists, musical performers, literary writers and other members of the art community.
