Guoliang, Director of SIPO’s International Cooperation Department, visited IP Philippines from the Asian Working Group in Intellectual Property Cooperation meeting in Manila, where China is a dialogue partner.

 

IP Desk at SME Expo

As part of its contribution to the celebration of the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Week (SMED Week), which is being celebrated beginning today, July 17, until Sunday, the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IP Philippines) in cooperation with the Intellectual Property Association of the Philippines (IPAP) will put up and man an IPR Desk at the SME Exposition which will be held on Wednesday, July 19, and will run up to July 23, 2006 at Trade Hall A, third level of Market! Market! In Taguig City.

The IPR Desk will be manned by IPR counselors who will give legal and technical advises on matters pertaining to IP, and is given free of charge.

Among the issues and topics, whose advises could be sought by clients and people with IPR problems, include IP in business, ways on how to file Patent and Trademark applications, the foundation or basics of IP and about Copyright.
