IP Philippines, PNP strengthen partnership. Atty Adrian S Cristobal Jr, Director General of the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IP Philippines) and PDG Jesus A. Verzosa, Chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP) shake hands after signing a Memorandum of Agreement on March 16, 2009. The two institutions have agreed to jointly create educational, capacity-building, and training programs on intellectual property. Under the partnership, IP Philippines and the PNP are also set to jointly undertake projects to promote protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights. IP Philippines promotes creativity and innovation through the country's intellectual property system.
