Subject: SUSPENSION OF WORK

        In the interest of the service and to ensure that employees will not be stranded in going home and traveling to their respective provinces in observance of the Holy Week, work in the Intellectual Property Office is suspended effective 2:00 p.m. today. Employees shall log-out using the finger scan machine.

        All papers and documents due todaty, 12 April 2006, may thus still be received on Monday, 17 April 2006 and shall be considered as having been filed on its due date.

       All Duty Officers of the Bureau of Patents and the Bureau of Trademarks and Information Officer of the DITTB are hereby directed to dessiminate this information. All Directors are advised to post copies of this Office Order in conspicious places in their respective bureaus including the immediate posting hereof in the IPO website by the MIS-EDP Bureau.

       This order shall take effect immediately.
