NOTICE

WHAT:     Conference entitled "Copyright in the Knowledge Economy: Challenges, Emerging Issues and Future Prospects", a joint project of the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines and the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) of the United States Department of Commerce.

     The Conference aims to increase awareness among Philippine policymakers and stakeholders on the importance of copyright industries in the knowledge economy and the emerging issues brought about by digital technology. Moreover, this conference of policymakers and stakeholders will discuss a proposed National Intellectual Property Policy Strategy (NIPPS) for the development of the copyright sector.

     Speakers from leading International Agencies as well as local experts on copyright will share their expertise during the Conference.
