IP POLICY WORKSHOP

The Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IP Philippines) cordially invites higher education institutions (HEIs) to a one and a half-day “IP Policy Workshop“ on September 29-30, 2008.

The Workshop aims to enhance participants' understanding of important IP concepts, emerging IPR issues and concerns and assist them to craft, institutionalize and implement their respective IP policies as mandated by Joint Memorandum Circular No. 08-02  dated April 23, 2008.

Signed by the IP Philippines Director General Adrian S. Cristobal, Jr. and CHED Acting Chairman Romulo L. Neri, the MC No. 08-02 requires all state universities and colleges and private higher education institutions to develop their respective IP Policies.

TARGET PARTICIPANTS: 

Officials/Representatives of State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and Private Higher Education Institutions. Participants with draft IP Policies are encouraged to bring their drafts for purposes of discussion.

PARTICIPATION FEE: Php 900.00 (inclusive of meals and seminar materials)
